We are pleased to announce that the relaunched South African Financial Management Consultants Pty Ltd t/a Safinco in November 2019 is now 5 years old and has established itself as a professional Financial Services Provider. Denis and Glynis have drawn on their experience since 1988 and have created a unique, modern, meaningful and independent practice. The brokerage has become a professional practice in financial management which utilises all the tools of the industry, not only local but also global, and this year, 2025, will also include AI systems.
TRUST is not a given in our industry. It has to be earned by providing high-level comprehensive solutions, coupled with lifelong service, and accountability.
SAFINCO has been powered by Denis and Glynis since 1988 and the intellectual knowledge gained over this period has enabled us to upskill in many disciplines, with a focus on investment management, to help our clients make informed decisions. This has been enhanced by creating Strategic Alliance networks with professionals in their respective specialities, which has enabled us to develop our Bespoke solutions. To ensure continuity and professional standards, we are pleased to announce that after comprehensive due diligence, we have created a Strategic Alliance with Troy Laas, whom I have known for 15 years, and his wife Paula. Troy joined the industry in 2002 with Liberty, a leading financial services provider at that time with a full service offering and outstanding skills development programme. He went on to gain senior managerial experience with a number of large independent financial services providers.
Due to having a vision of providing financial services at a higher level, Troy decided to form his own brokerage company, Shepherd Advisory t/a Consult Featherbrooke, an independent practice. Our combined intellectual capital is in excess of 60 years’ experience.
We are indeed proud to introduce Troy as our Strategic Alliance partner as well as our successor (who will succeed Denis in the event of death or retirement). This team, together with our respective spouses and partners in our practices, both of whom are qualified Paraplanners, makes us a sustainable, reliable and high-quality provider of Financial Services, particularly in respect of investment wealth creation where our combined skills offer investors and clients unique and effective solutions, all designed around their PERSONAL needs, goals and aspirations.
In addition, we are happy to advise our newest Strategic Alliance partners, Southern Right Financial Solutions, who are a leading accounting practice with their head office in Knysna, driven by Pierre Gouws and Belinda Snyman. They provide accounting, auditing, tax practitioning, fiduciary services including executorship and trusteeship, and formation of both local and global trusts.
All the above results in a full services NETWORK managed by highly skilled professionals to help our clients manage their financial affairs holistically through one portal.
